I also spray painted my dress form, but I need to figure out a way to fill it with something that won't make it heavy as all hell. I don't have enough fabric scraps to fill it all the way, and even half full was crazy heavy. I wish I had some of that foam insulation stuff that expands to fill an enclosed place and then hardens... but I don't, so I've been working with it as is, and that's unacceptable.
Here's the skirt, I think finished. As finished as I can make it I think :P
How did you make that entire cross-stitch and not tell me about it?! It's awesome! Also, your skirt looks way cool and now I want to do that, except something that might make it look better would be to put a waistband on it.
ReplyDeleteThere actually is a "waistband" on it.. but it's shiet. So I will have to cut the sides open a bit and resew it so that it actually fits to my body.
